Hello, website visitors! It has been a strange old year, hasn’t it? At the start of 2020, it would have been difficult to imagine a year of cancellations, restrictions and lockdowns - and now, one month into 2021, we’re still in the same boat.
It was really disappointing to see both Hickstead’s 2020 international fixtures cancelled, though I did manage to keep myself somewhat busy with the birth of my second baby son. He arrived in April, just after the first Covid-19 peak, and I was lucky to get to spend so much time at home getting to know him.
Last month my maternity leave came to an end, so I’ve been gradually returning to work. I wrote a couple of features for H&H, which I’m looking forward to seeing in print, and I’ve started working as press officer for Stride Management alongside my ongoing role at Hickstead.
